my go-to test runner is Jest, for everything.

when using TypeScript, I can't find the need of others tools apart from dtslint.

on a side note, if you're publishing your types in DefinitelyTyped, you don't need to include dtslint in your src, you can generate the definitions using the--declaration flag, for tsc compiler, and publish just it + tests.

if you have internal ecosystem in your company, you can set up dtslint as shown here:

works really well in internal CI/CD pipeline.

when using Flow, there's no external lib to test type definitions and flow-typed have a internal script to test lib defs, only works if you're publishing something in there.
